The Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager plays a critical role in achieving and maintaining world-class manufacturing processes related to safety standards, product quality controls, productivity, and efficiency.

This position is responsible for:

Main Responsibilities

• Leading new product introductions and transitions by collaborating with operations teams.
• Driving standardization and business group initiatives for process engineering across all facets of the operation.
• Managing project management teams.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical test equipment and processes, preferably in the cable industry, including signal integrity and hipot continuity tests. This person will also be responsible for:

• Partnering with product line management, sales, and marketing teams to evaluate pursuit opportunities and strategic product roadmaps.
• Managing CAPEX for NPI and growth projects and strategies.

The successful candidate will be accountable for implementing a world-class manufacturing processes control mindset and standards that support site and business unit success. This includes:

• Determining and implementing world-class quality control mindsets and standards, including control plans, FMEA, and error proofing.
• Ensuring safety elements are deployed into manufacturing processes, including JSAs and equipment risk assessments.

A strong background in electronic manufacturing as an engineering manager is required, with at least 5 years of experience leading major transitions and NPI programs. The ideal candidate will also possess:

• A BS degree in industrial, electronic, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead a team to achieve stretch goals and objectives, manage multiple tasks and projects successfully, and demonstrate leadership capabilities, including people development. Financial planning for new and existing projects is also a key requirement.

This is a full-time position requiring 5% to 10% international travel, and a valid visa is required.
