    Job Summary

    Corning is a leading technology company that invents life-changing products using materials science. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team and lead the direction and supervision of the performance of individuals or a team of associates who put together components to make assemblies or process raw materials into finished products in an industrial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of processing flow on shift production summaries.
    • Support the creation and maintenance of Value Stream Maps to optimize production processes.
    • Lead and participate in improvement and cost reduction projects to drive business growth and efficiency.
    • Ensure the certification and training of all personnel assigned to the team.
    • Coordinate monthly PSA inventory activities and track discrepancies in SAP.
    • Participate in TL9000 and ISO 14000 audits to maintain certification.
    • Contribute to the implementation and execution of CAPAS documentation.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
    • 2-5 years of experience in the manufacturing field, including 2-5 years of experience in leading and/or supervising personnel.
    • Bilingual.

    Desired Skills

    • Green Belt Certified.
    • Understanding and experience of Lean Manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping.
    • Quality Systems and TPM knowledge.
