What you will do:


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Propose and implement the agreed local market access strategy during the life cycle of the product by working closely with Medical, Marketing & Sales to secure broad product access for Amgen new and existing product portfolio.
  • Preparation, support and follow up of economic models and model governance.
  • Development of Health Economics Tools (KAM tools)
  • External health economics/access negotiations.
  • Liaise with the different departments such as medical for development of HE models and medical letters for National Basic Formulary.
  • Development of value messages for different team members.
  • Liaise with the Health Economics and HTA global teams.
  • Development of detailed research for HE purposes.
  • Ensure processes of compliance.
  • Local and international publications according to SOP.
  • Dossier elaboration for local formularies, including federal and decentralized submissions.
  • Access and health economics projects as vital to ensure reimbursement.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
  • Master's degree and 4 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
  • Associate's degree and 10 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
  • High school diploma / GED 12 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
  • Proficiency in English, both in written and verbal communication.

Preferred Requirements:


  • Degree in Health Sciences (Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Health Economics, Actuarial etc.)
  • Large experience working within the Mexican Health Care system and communicating sophisticated HEOR issues to nonexperts.
