We are looking for a consultant to work with us on our localisation process for the LATAM Spanish Production of Bing.
The role can include a breadth of responsibilities and tasks. Before completing any tasks we will take you through a thorough onboarding process.Our overall mission is not to localise our series, but rather create a series that feels authentic to our audience within that territory.
To achieve this, it is key that our translators feel that they are genuine members of our production team.After onboarding and demonstrating an understanding of our core values, there are a number of tasks we may ask for assistance with that are not limited to but may include:
- Assisting and advising on the Localisation of all UK English scripts into LATAM Spanish.
- Quality check on anything previously translated in LATAM Spanish.
- Joining casting calls with the wider team and providing notes/feedback on the auditions.
- Reformatting scripts in LATAM Spanish.
- Assistance in editorial reviews of work in coordination with the company's editorial producer.
- Consulting production on the use of cultural and language differences.
- General assistance in the creation of this localised version in LATAM Spanish
- Attend voice recording sessions as requested
It is estimated that this project will take roughly one year or possibly longer, so a freelancer who is flexible would be ideal.
