JOB PURPOSE


In SCFS we recently established a Global SCFS operations team managing end to end processes for all countries globally through implementation of a Global Process Model (GPM).

We're currently expanding the scope of this team with the following processes in the regions:

  • Month-End Close in the areas of Source, Make, Logistics and SC Indirects
  • CapEx & Fixed Asset management
  • Global Financial Controls Framework (GFCF) controls
  • Periodic Standard Costing and Transfer Pricing


You will play a key role in the structure of the new team, process design, transition phase, project delivery and establishing the SCFS Global team together with our 3PSP Partner.


In this role you will be accountable for the OTIF delivery of these processes and controls with support from 3PSP team where required, running governance with key-stakeholders SCFS regional OCs / SCF teams, 3PSP operational governance and KPI/SLA mgmt.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Global process deployment in line with new GPM & operating model for expanded scope
  • Month-End Close
  • CapEx & Fixed Asset management
  • GFCF controls
  • Periodic Standard Costing and Transfer Pricing
  • Business Partner and first point of contact within Unilever for relevant processes
  • Guide and deliver OTIF operations with support from 3PSPs (CG, IBM etc.) and monitor performance.
  • Ensure effective service delivery, creating exceptional user experience in stakeholder community.
  • In depth understanding of business systems and tools
  • GFCF controls
understanding, documentation and attend / support SOX and other Audits

  • Data mining and KPI development
  • Excellent service delivery and continuous improvements
  • Support internal discussions by sharing a global/regional picture with the right facts.
  • Benchmark crosscluster to spot and drive opportunities to harmonize or implement more efficient ways of working.
  • Support various projects touching the process areas.
  • Bridge between central and regional team, while being the front end for business team interactions

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent experience
  • Background in Finance (> 3 years' experience)
  • Prior experience in Finance (e.g. SU finance)
  • Experience in Project management
  • English fluency (Business level)
