- Responsible to implement, maintain and improve the manufacturing process, ensure technical availability of equipment in all shifts.
- Fulfil Value Stream KPI's: IDC, FOR, Technical Down time.
- New product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation and installation on production environment.
- Develop process and instructions for processes, write material to train technicians, and processes for maintenance: Preventive, predictive and corrective.
- Design and integrate reliable and robust hardware, software, electrical systems, and communication systems for the manufacturing area.
- Support and monitor the implementation of Hardware and complementary Software solutions of Manufacturing execution system Engineer in order to maintain global standards in Industry
- Maintain and evaluate the applications/software according to the BOSCH Central Directives and the purpose of the solution.
- Coordinate, define and execute the digitization, and artificial intelligence roadmap.
- Design applications/software to show potential improvements to cost, quality, safety, delivery, and productivity, or to solve pain points and reduce waste in the value stream.
- Follow-up on analysis, development, testing and release of automated reports.
- Perform automated processes of information processing (ETL), which helps to build the requirements of the Business areas (Dashboards, KPI's).
- Train and instruct production and technical personnel.
- Get involved on the process to: Define, Acquire, Transfer, Accept, Validate, Release and install production process and equipment according to Bosch standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Bilingual (Spanish and Advanced English).
- 3 years of experience or more in test engineering tasks and processes within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership, proactive, and teamwork skills.
- Negotiation and Critical thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in analog and digital electronics.
- Specialization in electronics with a focus on communications.
- Analysis and interpretation skills for electrical, SW, and HW failures.
- Experience in conducting capability studies and MSA.
- Experience with data matrix or barcode reading systems.
- Experience with LabView is a plus.
- Experience in structured programming languages, including PLCs.
- Database management skills.
