Role purpose

  • The main role of the Accounting area is to provide relevant information in a timely manner, so that the Insurance department can manage the company's operations more effectively.
  • Make sure the accounting registers are according to Functional Instruction Manual (FIM) and local Regulatory rule.
  • Development Financial Statements and monthly executive reports that reflect the results of the company with their respective analysis (variations vs previous month, previous year), which serves to determine how the company is compared to what is planned and what course can be expected for the future (Local Regulatory and IFRS)
  • Guarantee that Mexico Insurance (INMX) has unique and reliable information, in a timely manner, for correct and timely decisionmaking.
  • Guarantee the generation, analysis and distribution of financial information of INMX companies (Insurance and Pensions) so that there is a complete and timely view of the composition and development of projects.
  • Support with correct, exact and detailed information for making decisions and / or direct proposals to improve financial performance.

Main activities:


  • Control and analysis of the accounting registers.
  • Control and analysis on the monthly closing of the company.
  • Generation of Financial Statements Financial Statements on a monthly basis according to Local and Group Regulatory rules
  • Make sure the Regulatory Reports (CNSF) RR7 are according to rules
  • Reporting variations and explanations
  • Implement all the necessary controls around accounting accounts environment (Work flow, data reference, etc)
  • Review of the estimate on a monthly basis and followup on it to guarantee a transparent closing.
  • Attend and follow up on all new projects in the Finance area.
  • Support to several insurance areas on provision and payments process.
  • Evaluation, Administration, Development and Implementation of projects focused on process improvement
  • Mitigate risks that generate penalties
  • Create information for Board Meetin
  • Attention to Regulatory CNSF Audits, SAT audits, External Financial Audits
Requirements

  • Bachelor ́s degree in Financial or Economic services
  • Advanced English
  • 3+ years of experience
  • High Capacity of Analysis
  • Knowledge of the Insurance Operation and Accountant rules
  • IFRS knowledge
  • High knowledge of Excel
  • Capacity of understanding and explaining P&L ́s
  • Regulatory rule knowledge
