Senior Accountant

MezTal seeks an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in property accounting. The ideal candidate will manage full-cycle accounting for properties, ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP, and provide timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property accounting including general ledger bank reconciliations month-end/year-end close prepare and analyze financial statements record and reconcile accounts payable accounts receivable accruals prepayments maintain accurate fixed asset depreciation schedules prepare variance analyses collaborate with property management teams ensure compliance internal controls lease agreements partner with property management to provide financial insights resolve issues assist external audits tax filings utilizing advanced Excel functions data analysis reporting experience Yardi similar software preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience at least 3 years in property accounting strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP advanced Excel proficiency pivot tables VLOOKUP complex formulas high attention to detail analytical skills excellent time management multiple priorities advanced English written verbal preferred Senior Housing Real Estate Hospitality Healthcare
