Quinta Tenerías Residence Club, the first luxury Vacation Club in the heart of San Miguel de Allende is looking for a Concierge.


The primary purpose of this position is to provide and fulfill concierge responsibilities for the Owners, Guests and operations in accordance with policies, standards and guidelines established.

This position is a very visible position.

This person must be Bi-lingual in English and possess the ability to fluently read, speak, write and comprehend the English language.


The objective of this position is to ensure Owner and Guest satisfaction, positive Team Member morale, operational efficiency, and cost controls.

Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times and performs the following tasks:

  • Prepare arriving information and ensure pre-arrival standards and polices are performed and coordinated;
  • Prepare daily arrival and departure reports for distribution;
  • Provide assistance with travel plans, reservation bookings, Quinta Tenerias services, dinner reservations and special requests;
  • Be knowledgeable of special events, receptions, rates, promotions and local events;
  • Prepare daily arrival and departure reports for distribution;
  • Ensure that all keys/ FOBs are secured, and inventories are documented.
Education, Experience and Knowledge

  • Two (2) years' front desk and/ or concierge experience in hospitality, private club and property management environments preferred;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, maintain good active listening skills and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals and adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and oral instruction;
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of Team Members, Owners and Guests;
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills including the ability to understand other computer programs (i.e., property management software and housekeeping scheduling systems) in a computerbased environment is a plus;
  • Ability to assess and evaluate standard and critical situations quickly and accurately;
  • Ability to resolve Owner & Guests concerns following the company's policies and procedures and ensure the proper resolutions;
  • General knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with work;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and courteous relationships and effectively communicate with other employees, Owners, Guests and other business contacts.
