The data engineer will be part of the Risk Modeling Unit supporting the Mexico Consumer Risk team. The role entails establishing Data Control Pipelines and contributing to foundational data principles such as Data Quality, Security, Privacy, Storage, Operations, Warehouse, BI, Analytics, and Reporting.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee all development phases from analysis to implementation, providing support to business users
• Collaborate on special analytics projects related to risk models
• Ensure adherence to procedures, define operating standards, and optimize data architecture and frameworks
• Interact with modeling teams and explore alternative data sources for model development
• Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field, Master's degree is a plus
• Proven experience as a data engineer or software developer
• Proficient in SQL, SAS, Python, and data analysis
• Fluent in written and spoken English
