Responsibilities:
- Selection and acquisition of equipment for manufacturing, control, and monitoring related to the needs of product launch. Identify and implement projects and costimprovement capabilities Establish manufacturing processes to meet production standards (people, equipment, and processes).
- Product and machinery manufacturing feasibility reviews (assembly stations, adhesive cells, welding machines mainly). Followup with suppliers for development, validation, and installation of assembly equipment. Support in the coordination of the Prototype and Pilot Runs Ensure controls meet customer specifications. Support in the development of assembly equipment specifications Process documentation: Control Plan, PFD, PFMEA, Work Instructions. Capacity runs of internal assembly cell and with Client. Training for supervisors and operators involved in the manufacture of the product. Support in improvements of the manufacturing processes concerning the actions of the lessons learned and the reduction of RPN. Support to meet the objectives of the plant (SCRAP, OEE, etc.) applicable to the released product. Know, comply with, and enforce the plant's Environmental, Health and Safety (EH & S) policy and guidelines.
Experience:
- Basic knowledge of PLC (Siemens)
- Basic knowledge of welders (vibration, hot plate, laser, etc).
Desirable:
- Project management.
- Basic tools (APQP, PPAP, AMEF, CP, SPC, MSA)
- IATF 16949 knowledge. Knowledge of industrialization (TAKT time, MOST, balancing).
