    Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
    • Analyze, design, and evaluate structures to meet project requirements.
    • Develop and supervise the preparation of structural engineering designs and construction documents including drawings, specifications, and calculations, as well as construction estimates and schedules.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and codes, and resolve any design or construction issues that may arise.
    • Verify and review contractors' shop drawings and submittals for conformance to contract documents and design requirements.
    • Design steel, concrete and masonry structures as well as in foundations for static ( condenser, pumps, tanks, warehouses, etc) and deep foundations.
    • Review and implement changes to design and construction documents as needed, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
    • Ensure that all work conforms to applicable engineering standards and regulations, including safety standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering for construction EPC projects.
    • Experience in structural engineering and design in the Power, Oil and Gas or Industrial markets, preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including AISC, ASCE, ACI, and IBC.
    • Experience with structural engineering software, SAP2000, STAAD PRO, RAM, SAFE, Navisworks and Mathcad. SAP2000 and STAAD PRO mandatory.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate with project stakeholders.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
