    Your Tasks

    You will be involved in supporting the Linux OS area, regarding operations, designing and implementing Linux projects, and service developments. This includes following ITIL processes, optimize continuously the Linux OS platform, consult in customer projects, as well as creating automation scripts to streamline daily operations as much as possible.

    1. Administration and Operation of Linux OS (SLES, Ubuntu, RHEL), SUSE Manager, and Ansible Automations: Oversee the administration and operation of Linux operating systems via SUSE Manager and Ansible Automations for efficient system management.
    2. Strategic development for system enhancements and customer projects: Analyze internal customer requirements, devise strategies for the evolution of existing systems, and guide the alignment of new projects.
    3. Development of Data Protection and Security Concepts: Create and maintain data protection and security concepts to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
    4. Advancement of Process Automations via Ansible or Terraform: Contribute to the ongoing development of process automations using Ansible or Terraform, enhancing overall operational efficiency and end-to-end automations.
    5. Incident, Problem, and Change Management (2nd-Level-Service): Independently execute, monitor, and manage Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes at a 2nd-level service level to ensure system stability.

    Your Profile

    1. Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field of study, an apprenticeship in an IT profession, or relevant work experience
    2. Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
    3. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Linux system administrator
    4. Develop and implement data protection and security concepts
    5. Administer and operate SLES, Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE Manager, and Ansible automations
    6. Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
    7. In-depth knowledge of server administration for Linux operating systems (SLES, Ubuntu, RHEL)
    8. Proficiency in automated system deployment using Terraform
    9. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure
    10. Analyze requirements from internal departments, formulate strategies for the enhancement of existing systems, and align with new projects
    11. Passion for automation and willingness to share knowledge and best practices with colleagues
