    Responsibilities

    • Analyze, design, and detail steel structures for offshore platforms, including topsides, jackets, and foundation structures
    • Develop design concepts and models for structural analysis using industry software tools
    • Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering codes and standards, company policies, and client requirements
    • Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to develop engineering solutions that meet project requirements
    • Prepare and review engineering technical reports, calculations, and construction documents
    • Assist with the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets
    • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and contractors

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
    • 1-2 years of experience in Oil and gas or industrial structures analysis and design. Offshore platforms is a plus.
    • Proficiency in industry software tools (STAAD Pro, RISA 3D, SACS, etc.)
    • Knowledge of applicable design codes and standards (API, AISC, ASCE, etc.)
    • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
