    Responsibilities

  • Transition from using ROS1 Gazebo to NVIDIA Isaac Sim and implement synthetic data generation pipelines
  • Enhance realism in the simulation environment
  • Evaluate current simulations, identify gaps in test coverage, enhance the simulation environment to catch edge cases
  • Develop and integrate new sim integration tests designed to pre-emptively identify discrepancies or issues, reducing the workload on the QA team
  • Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with robotics simulations
  • Proficient knowledge of ROS1, ROS2, Gazebo, and NVIDIA Isaac Sim
  • Experience setting up NVIDIA Isaac Sim with ROS1 and ROS2 for an existing robotic system
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, C++
  • Solid background in quality assurance methodologies, especially within a simulated or virtual environment
