Your Role and Responsibilities


Responsibilities:

Assist in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Identify and investigate discrepancies between financial records and source documents.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for reconciliations.
Assist in resolving reconciliation issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with other finance and accounting team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Good Accounting skills:
Understanding of UUSS GAPP and/or IFRS is preferred

Good computer skills:
very good data entry skills, Analytical skills, Problem solving skills, working experience in an ERP or Mainframe environment,

Attention to Detail:
Ability to meticulously review financial data and identify discrepancies or errors in account balances.

Communication skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues and clients.

Problem-Solving Abilities:
Capacity to troubleshoot reconciliation discrepancies and effectively resolve issues. This may involve collaborating with other departments or stakeholders to gather necessary information and implement corrective actions.

Teamwork:

Collaboration with other members of the finance team, such as controllers, financial analysts, and auditors, is essential to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Some relevant internship or entry-level accounting experience preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
Ability in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
