The Professional Maintenance Specialist Controls is responsible of manage the labor and resources in order to maintain automatic equipment such as PLC, Drives, network systems, safety systems complying with all the standards established by the Stellantis company and implementing best practices and performing the next activities:
Strategic
To control the maintenance planning for PLC, Drives, network systems, safety systems
To assure the strategy to achieve the production
To collaborate with production supervisors to assure maintenance activities and troubleshooting
To define the type of maintenance activity according to machine availability (BD, TBM,CBM, AM, QM)
To assure the correct management of spare parts for PLC, Drives, network systems, safety systems.
Make a plan to improve the process and reduce the cost of purchase orders
Operational
To r esponsible for providing technical support on technologies.
To provide specialized support in production lines ensuring the restoration of equipment.
To keep update the software and licenses for each of the technologies
To Support for the development of maintenance equipment and test during shutdowns and weekends
Resource Management
To coordinate with the training area training maintenance technicians in technologies of each of the production lines.
To manage cost related to machine.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or journeyperson; and minimum of 3 years of industrial automation maintenance experience, including some supervisory experience
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members
Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team
Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing

Must possess a working knowledge of advanced technical problem-solving tools
Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in technical/engineering field
Previous experience working in a union environment
Knowledge of PLC ControLogix 5000, GardLogix 5000, Ethernet, Device Net, Control Net
Knowledge of Drives Drives Emmerson and Drives Power Flex
Knowledge of Panel Views, RS View 32, Factory Talk.
Maintenance program management experience in spare parts and maintenance activities
Production/maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Three or more years maintenance experience in a manufacturing/automotive environment
Experience with body shop, stamping press automation or subassemblies
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office software programs
