Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.

Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

The team you will be a part of:
This position is part of the Early Careers program in Mexico. The Network Design Engineering team provides support to the Optical Network Integration Teams for whole America.

What you will learn and contribute to:

This position will allow the intern to learn about optical networks.
Should support design activities using the Nokia's tools.
Interact with the Network Integration Team and will learn how to configure and provisioning WDM.equipments of the 1830 PSS family.
Provide MOPs for their execution as well as reports that reflect the network after activities are completed.

Your skills and experience

You have:

Been enrolled in 8th or 9th semester of undergraduate studies in Communication and Electronical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering for an accredited school in Mexico.
Fluent command of English language. Other languages will be a differential.
Office 365 Skills.
Standard telecommunications skills such as: Optics(WDM), optical design parameters.
Specific programming languages and tools to develop macros and scripts.

It would be nice if you also had:

Routing protocols
Phyton, Linux, java
