Trademark Attorney / IP Client Relationship Lead (Hybrid – Global Focus)

Location:
Hybrid (3 days in-office ideally in Mexico City or nearby (local candidates preferred) / 2 days remote)

Live consultations viaGoogle MeetPre-recorded, personalized Loom videosfor each clientAI-assisted preparation and follow-up to improve clarity, speed, and outcomesWe already serveover 4,000 trademark clients across Mexico and Latin Americaand are making asignificant investment to grow Trademarkia across the continent , with the goal of becomingthe largest trademark filer in Mexico and Latin Americaand bringing work currently handled by outside agentsin-house.

Role OverviewWe are seeking aclient-focused trademark attorneywho thrives onrelationship building, client development, and clear communication , while also handling substantive trademark legal work.

This is ahybrid role :

3 days per week working from the office2 days per week working remotelyYou will work withclients across Latin America and globally , serving as a trusted advisor and long-term relationship owner, not just a transactional filer.

Key Focus of the RoleClient relationship management and development is the primary skillLegal work supports the relationship — not the other way aroundYou will:

Advise clients on trademark, copyright, patent, and broader IP strategyBuild long-term relationships through video consultations and follow-upsDeliver clear, practical advice using live and recorded videoHelp migrate and manage work previously handled by outside agentsAct as a face of Trademarkia for clients in Mexico, Latin Americaand internationallyResponsibilitiesClient Relations & DevelopmentConduct personalizedGoogle Meet consultationswith clientsRecordcustom Loom videosexplaining legal advice, next steps, and strategyBuild trust and long-term relationships with clients across jurisdictionsProactively follow up with clients and identify additional IP needsMaintain excellent responsiveness via video, email, chat, and phoneLegal & Substantive WorkConduct trademark searches and clearance analysisFile trademark applications and manage prosecutionHandle oppositions, office actions, and portfolio managementAdvise on copyright, patent, and broader IP issues where relevantCoordinate filings across multiple jurisdictions, especially in MexicoAI & Modern PracticeUse AI tools to:Prepare client summaries and explanationsImprove clarity and consistency of adviceDraft internal notes, checklists, and client communicationsAI is atool to enhance quality and efficiency , not replace legal judgmentWorking Model & HoursHybrid work model :3 days in office in Mexico city (you will help us set up a co-working space)2 days remoteFlexible working hours, but you must be:Responsive during daytime business hoursAvailable for scheduled video meetingsYou will provide aweekly availability schedule(between7 AM – 9 PM, Monday–Friday , local time), approved in advance by your Practice Manager / HRQualificationsLicensed Attorney in Mexicowith Trademark or Patent prosecution experience.

Complete fluency in EnglishTrademark qualifications completedExperience in trademark law, including:
SearchesFilingsPortfolio managementStrong understanding of trademark laws and proceduresExceptional client communication and consultation skillsComfortable delivering advice viavideo (live and recorded)

Strong analytical, research, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and matters independentlyExperience working with international or remote clients is a strong plusApplication RequirementIf you make it past our prescree nphase, you will be required to submit a2-minute Loom video in spoken English :
