About the Team
Our Team handles claim documentation submissions.

We are responsible for new claim set up, status updates, correspondence with clients and partners, and processing financial updates in the system.

The core of this role is to provide support to Claims Analysts on our team while processing lower risk processes.


About the Role


Responsible for timely and efficient review and processing of claim documents and transactions received by Swiss Re from clients and other internal and external partners.

Must be self-motivated with basic analytical skills and attention to detail.

Must be able to work in a dynamic environment with the ability to navigate through periods of change and ambiguity.


  • Review and process claim documents and transactions in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner within established turnaround time.
  • Set up new claims including, but not limited to, initial review, coverage analysis, selection of the correct Business, Main Line of Business, Loss Cause/location & Consequence, and Industry Segment within established turnaround time.
  • Identify/determine any required financial adjustments
  • Independently analyze basic coverage and set up claims.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the financial transaction endtoend process and understanding of the big picture.
  • Demonstrate and utilize effective problemsolving skills.
  • Exhibit an operational mindset with focus on efficiency and standardization
  • Communicate clearly with fellow team members, provide and receive feedback for and from peers, customers and leadership team.
  • Participate in the development of various projects in Operations
  • Exhibit an awareness of downstream impact to reporting, financials, balance sheet and automation.

About You

  • Demonstrate data analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Problemsolving skills and ability to look for creative solutions to resolve errors
  • Experience with root cause analysis a plus.
  • Curiosity about the future of the business.
  • Ability to move forward during times of uncertainty.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities, meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Able to work in a virtual/remote international/global/multicultural team environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • College degree or related business experience preferred.
