Currently we are looking for our next: West & Northwest Regions EHS Manager


Which is the main objective of this role?

  • Lead & implement the EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Strategy agenda including the Safe Drive & Sell, Work safe on Small Format, Large Format, Secondary Fleet, Prtimary Fleet, Value Chain Control, DC Operations & Mixig Centers preventing incidents, Risk Mitigation, Hazard elimination avoiding Vehicles Collision, hipo events and fatal accidentes, through the Global, Sector and Local Standars and engagement and commitment of the leaders.
  • Skills developments, Feedback, Audit and Support to the Safety Coordinator agenda ensuring the GOALS attainments on Regionals PDR ́s.
  • Achive outstanding performance on the Global, Sector and local Audit of PepsiCo Global Standars and Local Compliance.
  • Responsible for coordinating multidisciplanry teams that generate and implement action plans on Sites.
  • Member of Regional comite team, helping to take holistic decisions to move the region to Positive Impact on EHS.

What will you be doing?
Weekly follow up to Safety Coordinator to review and check the atteiment agenda.

Monthly EHS Business Review with the Sales Director & VP ́S

A charge of deploy the culture regional agenda focused on the main casuistic, gathering diferents resources

Develop and deploy the Regional Agenda to esure the following targets:
ZERO FATALITIES & ZERO HiPo Collisions at Region Level through Safety Coordinators.

Annual Driver Certification on "Test Drive" for Sales Representatives

Annual Driver Certification on "Test Drive" for Sales Supervisor

Telematics Implementation and Improve the Driving Behaviors

Manage the High Risk Drivers agenda for Sales force and support areas

Ensure the Implementation of the Global EHS management System (GEHSMS)

Implementation the Actions Plan commitment in the GEHSMS agenda.

Risk Assessment Evaluation of the actives on Fleet / Warehousing / Sales

Review and Manage the Collision reported by assurance company (GNP).

Specialized Driving Training.

Training and Coaching to "Safety Star" for Fleet / Warehousing / Sales

  • Design and organize the Implement the activities and processes defined in the national EHS strategy
Design and organize the Implement GEHSMS standards in Fleet / Warehousing / Sales

  • Design and organize the Implement the international standards ISO 14001 and ISO 45,001 Fleet / Warehousing / Sales
  • Improve and implement the Safe Drive Index for Primary & Secondary Fleet
  • Deploy national GEHSMS programs
  • Responsible for monitoring the implementation of GEHSMS programs at Fleet / Warehousing / Sales
  • Ensure the correct documentation of incidents occurring in warehouses
  • Provide technical support through the field team warehouses in the methodologies for incident investigation
  • Ensure that events occurring in warehouses are correctly loaded in the MyEHS tool
  • Ensure that the Decks to present incidents L1 to EHS Global are in time, form and based on Pepsico's EHS standards
  • Ensure the correct execution of action plans derived from incidents
  • Audit warehouses in the GEHSMS protocols
  • Ensure that the SASS warehouses facilitators have the correct EHS competency level.
  • Support in the construction of the EHS competences in the SASS facilitators.
  • Responsible for issuing recommendations on solutions to reduce the degree of risk
  • Responsible for monitoring the reduction of the risk level of the warehouses.
  • Work as a team with other areas to achieve success in the implementation of GEHSMS programs.
  • Support other areas in the implementation of their respective standards.
Integrate the requirements of other areas in the GEHSMS programs.

  • EHS assessment of warehouses CAPEX.
  • Issue recommendations in the CAPEX based on the EHS Pepsico standards.
  • Ensure that CAPEXs have the EHS requirements established by Pepsico.
  • Responsible for communicating incidents at the national level using the Safety Alert, rapid communication or similar formats.
