    Role Overview

    Business Development is the start of an exciting career journey in sales and a critical driver of CBC's growth. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities for our sales organization by engaging with prospects interested in AI-enabled supply chain transformation.

    This role offers a strong foundation in consultative selling, exposure to enterprise supply chain challenges, and hands-on experience with modern sales technologies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and drive prospecting activities across a defined industry vertical or geographic region within the U.S.
    • Identify and discover net-new business opportunities aligned with CBC's AI-driven supply chain solutions.
    • Conduct advanced prospecting by engaging organizations showing demographic, firmographic, or behavioral buying signals.
    • Execute multi-channel outreach using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to generate high-quality sales opportunities with strong close potential.
    • Build and maintain a healthy, sustainable pipeline, prioritizing quality over volume.
    • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Solution Consulting teams to align messaging and strategy.
    • Leverage modern sales tools such as CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, and data intelligence tools.
    • Contribute innovative ideas to improve outreach strategies, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
