- Develop and implement strategies to optimize import and export flows, as well as supervise compliance with customs, tax and foreign trade rules and regulations applicable to the company's import and export operations.
- Advise and assist stakeholders regarding trade compliance matters.
- Broker management - Conduct import and export monthly audits, participate in operations meetings with customs brokers.
- Monitor imports, exports and resolve issues associated with shipment delays
- Management of trade compliance requirements related to logistics service providers
- Create and update processes, work instructions, presentations and monthly trade compliance volumes report
- Accountable to obtain permits - has accountability & ownership to secure the Hub can export to the region according to export legislation.
- Provide subject matter expertise and training to other process areas and organizations.
- Monitoring and control of the documentation of all import (IN, V1, AF)/export (RT, V1) processes related to IMMEX operations.
- Analysis of Annex 24 (inputs / outputs) and analysis of Annex 30 (control and knowledge of monthly and annual reports)
- Validation of tariff together with the customs agent, taking responsibility for the correct definition.
- Involvement with the supply and warehouse areas to define Inbound & Outbound priorities.

What you will do:
The skills you bring:
Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade
Minimum 5 years work experience in Imports, Exports, IMMEX
HTS knowledge
Knowledge of customs legislation (Customs Law, General Rules, IMMEX Decree, etc.)
Knowledge in virtual operations.
Knowledge in Export Control System (Export Permits & MUUF)
Management of the system Annex 24 and Annex 30
Knowledge of international logistics - land, air and sea traffic.
Knowledge in customs, fiscal legislation (e.g., PROSEC, VAT – IEPS Certification, Export Permits, application of NOM in foreign trade, HTS classification) and Trade Compliance structure.
Experience in IMMEX management and authorized economic operator certification.
Experience in the management of import and export operations, including air, sea, and land transportation.
Experience with automation of internal processes and with external service providers
HS & ECN classification experience; preferably with hi tech, telecom, electronics products
SAP knowledge including PO structure, Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt
SAP GTS proficiency
