Quality Assurance Engineer

We know success does not happen by accident. It takes the right team of people, working together on the right solutions for the customer. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will be our key driver to make this happen.


Responsibilities & duties:


  • Participate in all aspects of product delivery, including planning, design, code reviews and crossplatform / crossbrowser testing.
  • Create and maintain test plans and test cases
  • Working with development colleagues to provide direct solutions, constructive feedback, and input on the software to ensure it meets customer expectations.
  • Black box, white box, and regression testing
  • Submitting and verifying defects
  • Assist with the diagnosis and resolution of product issues in production environments.
  • Contribute to automated testing by mapping, writing methods and tests under the guidance of senior engineers. (Selenium)
  • Act as a customer advocate by learning how the user expects to use the system and then ensure it meets those needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in technology field
  • Proficiency in software automation experience on web, mobile or desktop platforms
  • API automation, app automation, Web automation. Selenium or Appium preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in manual testing experience in a software development organization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix failing tests in CI/CD pipelines
  • C# programming language experience preferred
  • Must be able to write SQL queries
  • Proficiency with writing test cases
  • Proficiency in putting together regression suites
  • Strong desire to understand the business problems that our technology is created to solve
  • Familiarity with Agile development principles
  • Communicates openly and honestly and respects the variety of personality styles that make up the team
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to use a variety of tools and techniques to determine root cause

Physical and emotional requirements for the job:
This position is to be performed primarily remotely from an individual's home office and involves sedentary work. The position will require traveling to client offices when necessary.

Employees in this role can be expected to exert up to 10 pounds of force on occasion to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move standard electronic equipment.

Pay:
$13, $27,819.47 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Torreón, Coah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
