About the opportunity
Currently we are looking to hire a
Senior Asset Management Consultant_ _
to support growing the business in Mexico**.

We are looking for individuals with passion and drive, who is highly organized and can ensure that our high standard of quality is maintained.


About the Role:


  • Support the growth of the asset optimization team in Mexico by actively participating in business development activities
  • Deliver consulting services to our client's site
  • Successfully lead projects whilst maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Design and implementation of Maintenance and reliability business processes and systems
  • Development of Asset Management strategies and tactics
  • Application of Reliability Engineering processes and principles
  • Experience in Asset Lifecycle analysis is an advantage
  • Provide consultancy services to the designated clients in line with skills and competencies outlined above
  • Take on the responsibilities of Team Leader and/or Project Manager supervising other consultants as and when required.
  • Participate in maintenance audits as when required.
  • Standard and timeliness of the provision of service to clients.
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures and standards

About you

  • Degree, Qualified Mechanical engineer
  • Experience in Asset Management consulting is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to build and develop strong relationships with clients in Mexico. The Senior Asset Manager Consultant will be the main point of contact with the client.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of standards such as ISO5000 or PAS5
  • Proven prior experience as an Asset or Reliability Engineer

years of experience in manufacturing, mining, oil & gas or pulp & paper industry, in sites recognized for their reliability best practices.


  • Background as planner/scheduler, supervisor, reliability engineer, superintendent or manager in both operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in building asset maintenance strategies using RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) principles.
  • Ability to lead, plan, execute and review plant major shutdowns and to use Shutdown Gantt charts software
  • Experience in facilitation of defect elimination programs, including: RCFA, FMECA and RCM methodologies
  • Flexibility to travel as most of the work could be performed at the client site
  • Competency in the development and implementation of key performance indicators required for the proper management of our client's businesses
  • Demonstrated competency in training, coaching and auditing
  • High level interpersonal skills together with effective communication skills.
  • Computer and MS-Office knowledge & skills
  • Knowledge of a variety of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a must
