A Nidec Group Company is looking for:

ELECTRONIC COMPONENT BUYER_
Responsibilities:_
Data entry into various databases as needed to manage/update open orders
Risk Analysis reporting pertaining to Electronic/Semiconductor component level BOM's
Engage with PCBA/Elec Component team to identify and manage crucial open orders.
Monitor and maintain delivery schedules/due dates in system and ensure accurate and timely updates.
Expedite purchase orders and maintain tracking and report progress
Assist accounts payable with follow up/resolution of invoice discrepancies
Maintain and update supply chain departmental files/metrics
Manage assigned set of commodities to ensure material requirements are met:

a. Ensure material availability with respect to open customer orders

b. Process request for quote (RFQ) for new parts

c. Find and implement cost reduction opportunities

d. Regularly communicate with suppliers any changes on material requirements

e. Ensure KPI metrics set by the division are within prescribed limits

Assist in purchasing activities related to MRO
Performs all other adhoc projects or tasks as required by Supply Chain Manager or Immediate Supervisor.
Qualifications:_
BS degree in related field for Procurement/International Business.
Analytical Skills.
English language.
5+ years in the Manufacturing, Industrial environment.
Strong project management skills required.
Knowledge of Electronic Industry in Sales or Procurement.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to travel.

Strong Microsoft Office knowledge.
