We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Trade Control Manager


Overall Summary of the Job:
Change Program and investment strategy including non-discretionary regulatory change.


Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Experience and knowledge in Listed Derivatives Exchange and OTC products are required. Experience with testing of controls, such as audit experience, is a plus. Compliance experience also a plus.

The primarily responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Clear understanding of the relevant regulations covering the FCM.
  • Performing daily control checks on key processes for accuracy and completeness
  • Periodic detailed testing over the key processes, including design, schedule and execution of the tests monitor all open control findings providing all necessary closure evidence upon completion
  • Partnering with members of the team (locally and globally) on control matters, enhancement to processes, infrastructure changes and new business initiative
  • Supporting a control monitoring and metrics programme. Reviewing key risk metrics and MI reports
  • Collaborating with broader control functions such as Compliance, Control Officers, Operations Risk to review control observations and consultation
  • Contributing to a globally aligned control reporting and governance model
  • Challenging the line supervisors and line staff on control related matters
Requirements


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's is a Plus
  • Experience in exchange traded derivatives or OTC derivatives is highly desirable
  • Experience in Audit, Operations, or Internal Control function is a plus
  • Understanding of regulatory environment within the Futures business
  • Proficient with Excel, Power Point, and databases
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong risk assessment, control and testing skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively and proven ability to meet challenging deadlines
  • Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and complete assignments on timely basis
  • 5+ years of experience in Clearing or related roles.
Strong writing skills are key requirements for this role.
