Job description

We are looking for our new Chemicals’ Sales Representative. In this role you’ll work to generate incremental sales, optimizing market profit contribution, identifying and closing sales and distribution opportunities. The position is responsible to develop territory and will work with international Business Manager to develop business in Central America.

The position is based in home office scheme and Buckman provides transportation and communication tools.

Salary according to Chemical Market, life insurance, major and minor medical expenses, dental and vision plans, pension plan, annual bonus based on individual and company's goals.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as Sales Representative. His/Her role responsibilities include managing and guiding all aspects of projects from inception through execution, cultivating of internal, as well as external relationships. Key attributes being sought include exceptional communication skills, unwavering attention to detail, and an innate desire for teamwork and integration. This is a demanding and challenging position with development opportunities which requires the following profile:
• Chemical engineer, Chemist or related discipline
• Excelling in sales management and marketing process
• Excellent for human relations, team work, sales, pro-active, high responsibility, excellent for new business development
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports.
• Traveling availability
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Strong solution sales skills and business analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent Negotiation skills
• English fluent

The main role’s responsibilities include:
• Achieving sales, profit and safety goals as defined in the strategic plan.
• Developing and implementing the sales strategy for the division, including pricing policies and price adjustment procedures.
• Proposing an annual budget and plan in cooperation with the rest of the Divisions
• Coordinating market development, product development, and product line management with the Strategic Marketing department.
• Managing the portfolio of critical sales target projects to maximize speed and efficiency to convert into business
• Manage division expenses to ensure requirements in line with approved budgets
• Managing the resolution of customer claims to minimize attrition
• Building Customer relationships
• Attend industry trade functions
• Leading Customer-Facing Marketing Activities. Supporting market data gathering, competitor research, technical support for other Associates or customers, etc.
• Leading Customer-Facing Account Management Activities. Supporting contract management efforts, account receivables, etc.
• Managing Buckman Assets. Customer equipment, consignment inventory, automobiles, computer, phones, etc.
• Encouraging and promoting new Technologies according to Company strategy
• Coordinating with R&D to identify, develop and commercialize new technologies.
