About our client

Our client is an investment management company focused on lodging real estate investments in Mexico with properties in the broader Caribbean region.

The company is sponsored by a private equity manager committed to building best-in-class real estate platforms in Mexico of industrial, retail, residential, hotel, and multifamily properties.

The position is based in Mexico City.

What the job involves

Analyse hotel performance data to extract trends and identify opportunities for optimization of revenue and costs
Evaluate annual business plans and budgets, including capital budgets and longerterm strategic plans
Assist in monitoring and tracking capital expenditures (routine capital expenditures and major renovations) at each hotel, including conducting return on investment (ROI) analyses
Implement a system to analyse and visualize hotel performance data to help inform business decisions
Drive operational performance through regular contact with the properties and collaboration with onsite teams
Prepare reports, presentations, and investment memorandum summarizing property performance for existing and prospective lenders and investment partners
Design and executing each property's sustainability strategy, including tracking key performance indicators, and monitoring trends
Help implement the fund's ESG strategy
Work with thirdparty partners, such as lawyers, project managers, accountants, lenders, and management companies to ensure compliance and asset optimisation

Who we are looking for

Relevant business experience including work in hotel operations, real estate, development, private equity, finance, or consulting
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, hotel management, engineering, or related
English full professional proficiency
Strong analytical skills
Willingness to travel 2040% of the time
