Job Description Summary


We are looking for an IT Release Manager to join our LATAM Digital team to govern the release management process for LATAM, which helps different product teams.

We are looking for someone who can write top-quality processes and guidelines and implement them, and has a solid foundation of industry best practices for development.

She/he will play a vital role in governing and leading releases for digital experiences across LATAM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and lead a change management process, including scheduling the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find any roadblocks.
  • Set up guidelines to plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle.
  • Set and monitor metrics related to DevOps, such as velocity, quality, and reliability.
  • Communicate the projectrelated tasks, such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc., between different teams.
  • Track the progress and find issues, if any. Always work to improve the process of release.
  • Set guidelines to coordinate QA, Automation, UAT, Infosec, PMO and change management teams to ensure everyone is aligned on release scope, approvals, timing, etc.
  • Work closely within the DevOps team for CI/CD standards and needs, coordinate with the development and QA teams (and other environment owners) for deployment needs.
  • Set guidelines to lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
  • Set guidelines for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software.
  • Maintained documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.
  • Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management.

Work Focus
This role will lead the Release Management Process. It will be accountable for the governance of all digital solutions releases in LATAM. Partnering closely with other leaders such as product managers, architects, engineering managers, and operations leads.

This role will advance IT processes by establishing an agile and collaborative operating model, setting and implementing DevOps processes and tools to enhance speed to market and solution reusability across the system.


General Requirements

  • BA/BS required. BA/BS in Information Technology, Business, Management, or industryrelated curriculum preferred
- +5 years of relevant industry and development management experience, including hands-on development, coding, and implementing CI/CD.

  • Experience creating and executing organizational change management strategies in a consultative and collaborative manner.
  • Proven experience establishing enterprise governance frameworks, processes, and standards.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model. Experience and passion for working in a fastpaced Agile environment, delivering functional features in a smalltime duration while utilizing automation tool sets
  • Expertise in communications and relationship management. Comfortable and confident when speaking with different stakeholders, including engineers and tech managers as an expert and able to articulate the strategic vision and gain alignment at various levels of the organization.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with an open mind about new ideas and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend sound conclusions and implementation strategies.
  • Team player with high emotional intelligence able to multitask in a dynamic franchise model
  • Selfstarter, selfconfident, and assured in personal abilities
