- Consult with clients on achieving their telematics goals through demonstrated knowledge of vendor capabilities, inform client policy and measure client success.
- Develop standard dashboard and reporting capabilities to enable the commercial teams to be more effective consultants.
- Lead reporting and project specific initiatives impacting BSC specific targets across the strategy business
- Support/lead special project initiatives as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients (current, prospect) to understand their fleet management objectives and identify opportunities for telematics/connected solutions to deliver value. Provide clients guidance on how telematics data can help achieve their fleet goals.
- Build dashboard and reports in PowerBi to visualize telematics data and deliver actionable insights to clients.
- Design and maintain data models to support telematics analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal partners to integrate telematics data with other sources of fleet data, whether through data analytics efforts or into Element's core fleet platforms.
- Keep up to date with developments in telematics technology and industry trends and make recommendations to improve our telematics offerings and expand our telematics providers.
—Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field: Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in analysis, data modeling and business intelligence development
- Experience in fleet and telematics preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI and other data visualization tools
- Customer facing experience desirable.
- Demonstrate financial acumen and analytical capability.
- English Proficiency
- Display sound decision making and problemsolving skills.
- Demonstrate superior organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the continual process improvement efforts of the team.
- Create, manage, control, and document all processes and procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, internal ELEMENT resources and vendors to meet departmental goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate initiative by volunteering for activities and projects beyond daily responsibilities.
- Must be able to work under pressure, using tact, discretion, and good judgment.
- Must demonstrate solid Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
- Acquire and continue to increase knowledge of the Telematics, Electric Vehicles and other products, tools and services.
