Job Description


As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and executing test plans for Turnitin's products throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will work within an Agile team, developing and maintaining quality assurance standards, testing automation, and mentoring team members. Your work will contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

  • Collaborate with the team to define and implement best practices and procedures for quality assurance
  • Participate in various testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and scale testing
  • Work closely with the team to provide inprocess testing results
  • Design, write, execute, and maintain automated and manual tests
  • Participate in root cause analysis for reported issues
  • Investigate, record, triage, and track defects
  • Participate in major code releases and code review processes
  • Stay uptodate with new testing tools and strategies
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of frontend test automation and tools such as Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience working collaboratively in Agile teams
  • Expertise in JAVA and framework creation
  • Experience with integrating automated testing with CI/CD tools
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience testing web services/APIs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proactive working style and adaptability to change
  • Proficiency in English
