- Manages a wide range of supply chain processes, including inventory analysis, demand management, logistics management, and import/export operations primarily within a large or complex global business unit.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and formulates recommendations.
- Executes demand and supply matching activities independently, aligning planning with execution, and addressing issues and their implications.
- Drives backlog management.
- Gathers demand data from various managers to analyze and deliver demand signals for demand forecasting.
- Coordinates regional and global business unit planning teams, enhancing business processes.
- Regularly reviews performance metrics, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Contributes to priority projects through detailed analysis and recommendation development.
- Communicates requirements and guidelines to planning teams.
- Mentors junior-level staff.
- Develops and manages a Regulatory Trade Compliance program.
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience; may possess an advanced university degree.
- Typically 4-6 years of experience in supply chain roles.
- Brokers license and/or 4-6 years of experience in customs/global trade functions.
- Thorough understanding of supply chain processes.
- Highly proficient in analytical and data modeling skills.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills; proficient in English and local language.
- Demonstrated relationship management abilities.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
- Effective project management skills for leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within the area of responsibility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Available to Promise (ATP), and master scheduling.
- Understanding of national and international trade regulations to align customs/trade functions with business goals.
- Detailed knowledge of inventory analysis.
- Leadership skills in team-building and conflict resolution.
