    Descripción

    Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position:

    Under direct supervision from the Indirect Purchasing Manager procures MRO (maintenance, repair and operating) supplies, materials, equipment, and services.

    Process purchase orders via requisitions with appropriate functional and financial approvals, assuring compliance with internal controls.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Facilitate bids, analysis and negotiations for goods and servicesAccurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to ISI standard process.

    Manage the day-to-day business relationship with key suppliers through supporting activities including ordering, communication of demand/ volume/ delivery time changes, issue resolution, sharing of end-user feedback, follow up on backorders, etc.

    Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities.

    Assist with contract development and executionManage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service, and price performance standards of the companyIdentifying, prioritizing, and impacting key business opportunitiesWorks closely with other departments to expedite receiving and Purchase Requisition processesServe as an escalation point to resolve problems within the Purchase RequisitionParticipate in the continuous improvement of current processes.

    Effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
