ZF is looking for a Commodity Buyer for our location in Monterrey._

Responsabilities:

Present and manage suppliers panel, part family strategy and implementation of commodity strategy on Global Level for Iron Casting Commodity
Leading Price Negotiations, Contracts (any legally binding documents such as ZF Framework contracts)
Sourcing (Supplier selection, RFQ's, quotation analysis, awarding process, prepare sourcing decisions SDB)
Master Data Mgmt (e.g. Price Maintenance), Tracking of measures and forecast, Global Sourcing & Purchasing and Operation Plan for Commodity
Drive Benchmark activities, MakeandBuy, Market Intelligence &Research within commodity to present savings opportunities and then to execute it
Support project team in VAVE and WCM (change management), Supplier Escalations Escalation Level 3 (missing performance in cost, quality or deliveries and capacities).
Perform total cost of ownership and cost per part analysis
Understand cost breakdown including labor, material and engineering costs and prepare cost breakdown comparison
Understand and ensure compliance with all group directives.
Perform other duties as assigned by respective commodity management
Lead Global Competitive Sourcing benchmark activities

Your profile:

- min. +2 years of working experience preferably in an automotive or commercial vehicle industry in a similar position

Bachelor degree (engineering, economic background preferred) or equivalent experience.
Good Working Knowledge of Excel, Word. And Power Point as well SAP system.
Fluent English, German or would be a plus
Commodity knowledge: casting, machining, assemblies
Superior analytical abilities with a high attention to detail
Proven ability to work independently in a fast paced, highvolume environment
Proven ability to interface with crossfunctional teams and all levels of personnel and management
Solid organizational and time/project management skills
Travel Required 030%
