Job Description:

QAD is seeking a
Senior Accounting Analyst who can, under moderate direction, provide accurate, consistent, timely and reliable financial information and analysis, while working with teams in the Americas.

What you'll do:

Prepare and record asset, liability and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Includes tax, legal, professional fees, consulting, marketing and other services accruals at monthend.
Performs standard monthend account reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, prepaids & deposits, intangibles and liabilities.
Prepare standardized project and account trend analyses and provide explanations for variances or trends.
Assist with annual external audit and management's review questions.
Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit.
Prepare Inter-Company load files for various activities such as cross charges, global services, personnel charges and interest.
Assist with testing and help enhance software functionality for system reports required for management, financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
Contribute to department and organization special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Licenses: Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
Experience: Minimum of 35 years in accounting; public company experience preferred.
Computer skills: Intermediate to advanced MS Office, especially Excel; Gmail business app, Hyperion or similar reporting software. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software for both general ledger and statutory accounting.
Other knowledge or skills: Strong research, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, able to multitask and meet deadlines in a multicultural, fastpaced environment. Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US and Mexico). Knowledge of Mexico Statutory accounting principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
