Eaton's CRDS division is currently seeking Product Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez Facility


The Product Mechanical Engineer is responsible for implement and maintain MCB (Miniature Circuit Breakers) product engineering and design specifications through new processes and engineering changes.

At the same time supporting continuous improvement projects.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Implement and maintain engineering and design specifications for new and existing product development as a result of engineering changes, savings projects, quality improvements, etc. using the design process.
  • Provide support and maintenance in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems including ENOVIA, MAPICS, VISTA, MS Office.
  • Design product applicable to standards such as UL (Underwriters Laboratories), CSA (Canada Standards Association) and NEC (National Electrical Code).
  • Create and maintain BOM (Bill Of Materials) using ENOVIA ECR (Engineering Change Request) and ECO (Engineering Change Order) using different documentation methods.
  • Assist in the creation of drawings for components and assemblies using CREO and AutoCAD, etc.
  • Provide technical support to other departments of production control, customer service, technical resource center, production, quality, manufacturing, accounting, materials.
  • Help direct activities assigned to engineering technicians and draftsmen to comply with NPI (New Product Introduction) actions and plans.
  • Participate in the Quality System for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Contribute to meeting the goals and objectives of the environmental control system, know the policy and comply with the methods and procedures applicable to this function.

Calificaciones:


Required (Basic) Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree Engineering. Preferably Electrical or Electromechanical engineering.
  • Minimum experience of 35 years in similar positions, in manufacturing industries (preferably Electrical).

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Technical, Mechanical and Electrical Drawing.
  • CREO, AutoCAD, Inventor
  • BOM (Bill Of Materials), Knowledge of Structure (AS400 / MAPICS).
  • Six Sigma
  • PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) / ENOVIA
  • ECR/ECO (Engineering Change Request / Engineering Change Order)
