PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acts as the plant representative for each product development team for Mechanical Engineering
  • Delivers manufacturing processes that are optimized and meet the need of the business.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Excellent introduction of equipments from the concept to the final validation;
  • Excellent project management attributes to assess and mitigate any associated risks;
  • Design and procure equipment;
  • Resolve issues using problem solving techniques;
  • Lead short term and longterm improvement;
  • Develop supplier network to constantly improve quality, price and delivery time;
  • Implement and design new processes with strong SMED and POKAYOKE strategy;
  • Constantly reduce wastes by leading and implementing Kaizen Workshops;
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical,Mechatronic,Electronic)
  • Bilingual English & Spanish 100%, French beneficial but not mandatory
  • Must have good Mechanical engineering skills, and industrial aptitude.
  • Project management: Master plan and budget development and execution.
  • Good communication skills to all levels of management
  • Able to interact with Management and all departments.
  • Individual personality that assure relationship build int
  • SAP, Catia, 3DVIA (desired)
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Experience in a high complexity fabrication environment
