Region Sales Strategy & Planning Deployment lead - Strategic Programs

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives.

Leads and partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term (typically less than two years) business plans and supporting data-driven models.

Prepares comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement. Develops data-driven analyses to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value.


AMS GEOs Sales Strategy & Planning Deployment lead (Strategic Programs) - management of plan & coordination of GEO sales planning stakeholders, activities surrounding coverage and quota deployment processes leading up to NGIT transition, pilot, data validation, & processes to support implementation & deployment onto new platforms.

Continuous support of E2E deployment activities (tools, processes, guidance) in respective GEOs (L1 support contact), working in close partnership with MDM & Sales Comp Ops teams to ensure E2E alignment.


_ How you'll make your mark:_

  • Execution of global playbook & plan in respective GEOs
  • Leading NGIT implementation and E2E deployment in cooperation with respective GEO SSP leads
  • Act as SME to understand current process capability and what is required to move to target state process for their respective GEO's
  • Support transition from Sales Territory to MDM Entity model, Anaplan sales org creation & maintenance, Account nomination process, coverage & quota deployment processes in new Anaplan
  • Evaluate and understand impact and how worldwide guidance is used in quota coverage processes in respective GEOs and if any modifications are needed for successful implementation
  • Supporting UAT testing for new platforms
  • Future Sales Planning Anaplan, coverage planning tools
  • Lead and support MOC/Training development and delivery in respective GEOs
  • Leads complex data and business analyses to develop business plans, and identifies recommendations and insights
  • Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
  • Leads crossfunctional teams across the entire span of business planning activities
  • Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.

_

Typically 6-10 years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.

  • Project Management oriented with technical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
  • Strong leadership skills, including teambuilding, conflict resolution, and remote teams management
  • Executive level engagement (e.g., GEO SSP leaders)
  • Existing knowledge and experience with E2E readiness process, quota/coverage processes Anaplan and Sales Territory Management
  • Preferred knowledge of sales compensation processes
  • Experience in MOC related to strategic programs (e.g., NGIT, asset retirement)
  • Extensive knowledge of research methodology for key business issues
  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
  • Ability to travel less than 25%
  • Ability to work extended hours during US time zone
