- Develop world-class software solutions that automate product manufacturing, data collection, storage and analysis in a time critical and customer centric automotive manufacturing environment
- Develop enterprise solutions for high volume data collection, reporting, and management.
- Responsible for creating system requirements, producing software specifications and assisting with determining operational feasibility
- Perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process in a hybrid development environment consisting of both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Utilize the latest source control methodologies to maintain an organized and well documented code base
- Comply with cybersecurity standards, industry standards and internal best practices ensuring robust software designs and implementation
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in support of internal and customer focused requirements Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of LabVIEW VI development and deployment
- Advanced knowledge of .NET [ and C] programming languages
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases [SQL Server]
- Knowledge of electromechanical devices and data acquisition systems
- Proficiency with source code control (BitBucket, Git, SVN or equivalent)
- Proficiency with cybersecurity methods, techniques and tools
- Ability to excel in a demanding (automotive preferred) production environment
- Ability to take ownership of large tasks and/or projects with minimal assistance
- Understanding of SAE J protocol is preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, computer science, data science or related field
- + years of experience in software development and database management for manufacturing applications
- Fluency in English and Spanish Physical Demands
- Ability to work several hours at a computer

What you will be doing:
Job/Position Summary
Key responsibilities include all aspects of the software development lifecycle. You will be developing, testing, and maintaining locally deployed manufacturing test systems utilizing COTS software platforms and languages. Additional key aspects include manufacturing data collection, analysis, storage and SQL database management. The role requires exceptional coding skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal communication and the ability to function efficiently in a globally distributed team. Major Areas of Responsibility
