Main Responsibilities:


As a JDF Country IT Lead, you will be responsible for the tech stack enabling John Deere Financial (JDF) operations in Mexico.

This includes integration of vendor/purchased systems into the JDF ecosystem, data management, and underlying supporting infrastructure. This role will also have accountability for IT compliance and security at the business unit.


In addition, you will:

  • Participate in technical discussions with team(s) and supplier(s) to define design and integrations.
  • Verify and monitor interfaces and services to ensure quality.
  • Lead problem analysis for incidents, driving immediate resolution and identifying root cause.
  • Work with vendors to identify & prioritize system health, compliance, and security needs.
  • Work with Product Owner to prioritize technical investments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.

What Skills You Need:


  • Proven experience in the design, integration, verification, and support of software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of computer technology and software development life cycle.
  • Strong understanding of cloud development with platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Working knowledge of common integration patterns.
  • Proven experience collaborating within and across teams and suppliers to ensure that solutions meet needs.
  • Proven experience working in a team environment within mínimal supervision; highly teamoriented.
  • Foundational technical acumen across complex software solutions (e.g. infrastructure, environments, data structures, architecture, etc.).
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
  • Proven experience with Agile development process, methodology, and scaling.

What Makes You Stand Out:


  • Proven experience in development and testing of loosely coupled, webbased software solutions.
  • Working knowledge of domain/product (business and product knowledge).
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure with platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Working knowledge of DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
  • Working knowledge of UX/CX.
  • Knowledge of tools used for data management or data warehousing.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience (5+ years applied software engineering).
