Responsible for identifying market trends, analyzing stakeholders' behavior and preferences, and providing strategic insights to drive brand equity and growth for Cemex brand portfolio


Main Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate research to identify key trends, stakeholders' behaviors, and preferences that impact Cemex's brand equity and growth opportunities.
  • Measure the global brands' equity evolution and the performance of global campaigns.
  • Track competitors' brand strategies, corporate programs, communications, and products.
  • Analyze data from various sources, including market research studies, social media, and sales data, to develop insights that inform strategic decisionmaking.
  • Provide recommendations to crossfunctional teams on brand positioning, messaging, and marketing strategies based on consumer insights and market trends.
  • Monitor and track brand equity metrics, such as awareness, perception, and loyalty, and provide recommendations on improving and maintaining Cemex's brand equity.
  • Collaborate with external research partners to design and implement market research studies to gather consumer behavior and preferences insights.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to senior management and crossfunctional teams that communicate insights and recommendations to drive brand equity and growth.
  • Perform adhoc research (from internal and external audiences) on critical global projects

Position Challenges:


  • The marketing landscape is constantly evolving, and staying up to date with the latest market trends and consumer behaviors can be challenging.
  • Communicating complex insights and recommendations to stakeholders who may not have the same level of expertise can be challenging.
  • Work with external research partners to gather insights on consumer behavior and preferences in a timely and costeffective manner and maintain the quality of the research output.
  • Identify the right metrics to measure brand equity and track changes over time, and provide insights and recommendations based on these metrics.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related disciplines. A Master's degree will be a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or brand management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with market research techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to senior management and crossfunctional teams in English and Spanish.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams within the company.
