About the Role

As a member of Trimble's global engineering team focused on accelerating Cloud Support, your first assignment will be to work on the E-Tools Platform.

You will be a key member of a Cloud Support Team dedicated to Support & Monitoring and advancing Trimble's technologies and providing our current and future customers with an intuitive product experience.

What You Will Do:

Develop new and enhance current shared public cloud services with consideration for Availability, Operations, Performance, Capacity, Security, and User Experience
Create architecture diagrams, service description and operations runbook documentation
Train operations team to provide Level 2 support for shared public cloud services.
Provide design and deployment assistance for divisions needing help on a project basis.
Manage AWS/Azure best practices for Trimble Cloud managed accounts and create new division managed accounts with our best practices; keep our best practices up to date as technology evolves.
Work with a global team and are able to occasionally meet or perform tasks offhours
Workflow automation helping teams to manage migrations to the E-Tools platform and streamline workflow processes

What Skills and Experience You Should Bring:

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent degree
3+ years' experience with AWS or Azure
Experience with DevOps role and/or cost optimization on AWS or Azure
Development tooling, including Jira, Git and Jenkins/Bamboo
Good English verbal communications and organization skills
Containerization experience such as ECS, EKS, Docker
Professional soft skills, capable of advanced technical communication and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times

Building CI/CD Pipelines

GH Actions and/or Bamboo
Software development in the form of API CRUD operations, writing automated scripts etc.
Familiarization with Cloud Architecture, Amazon, Azure
IAC, Terraform and/or Cloudformation, parameterization and templating mechanisms for infra. as code operations.
Familiarity with Tech Review / Peer Reviews, PR (pull requests) and technical transparency for signoffs
Familiarity with change requests, SRE principles and practices such as maintaining SLAs, SLOs etc.
