Description:

Position overview
The Procurement Operations Intern is part of the larger Global Strategic Sourcing team.

This person, based in the Monterrey office, will support the Procurement Operations team in supplier outreach to inform MSCI's suppliers about the supplier information management platform and assist these suppliers in completing the registration process.

Your key responsibilities

This role will support the Procurement Operations team in the communication, education, and facilitation the use of the supplier information platform by MSCI's suppliers.

This role will also need to track and report on the progress of the efforts to ensure registration targets are met in a timely manner.

Specific knowledge and skills

Experience using O365 including MS Excel (basic formulas, pivots, etc.)
Comfortable with initiating communication
Assertive and persistent to see things through

Desired experience
Studies related to Business, Corporate Social Responsibility/ Sustainability, Procurement/Sourcing, Supply Chain, or similar corporate function.

Desired qualifications

Excellent team player.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organization skills, reliable, service oriented, and selfstarter.
Positive resultfocused attitude with strong work ethic; able to work with minimum supervision. Professional, proactive, and with critical thinking skills.
Ability to provide efficient and reliable assistance, whilst maintaining attention to details.
