About the Position:


Want to be a part of a software development company working with big names in the IT industry We're seeking a determined and dynamic Operations Manager to drive aggressive growth and run Distillery Tech's regional business operations in LatAm.

Working collaboratively with our Headquarters in the US, you will contribute to the continued success of our Delivery Organization, all while directly reporting to the CEO, serving as a key liaison between our regional operations and executive leadership.

We need a professional with strong management skills, experience, and willingness to help us manage our fast-growing Delivery Centers.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily operations, manage back office function budgets, and set regional objectives.
  • Spearhead risk management strategies, by identifying and mitigating risks to ensure smooth business operations through efficient processes.
  • Monitor, forecast, follow up, and report regional team KPIs progress directly to Clevel
  • Ensure compliance with local and global rules and regulations.
  • Lead and manage Delivery and Back Office departments in LatAm including functions such as HR, Recruitment, IT, Learning & Development, and Technology Delivery.
  • Supervise client relationships by ensuring strong partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive and own change management initiatives, and support global process implementations.
  • Manage and support the recruitment team to find the very best talent in the LatAm market.
  • Lead the development of our engineering offices, focusing on remote team management for improved collaboration and productivity in the evolving hybrid work landscape.
  • Participate in industry events, media launches, and promotional activities needed for HR brand and growth.
  • Ensure compliance of work processes with the rest of the company and establish own processes if needed.
  • Spread and support company culture in the office.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop your team of collaborators, promoting the development of new leaders, and ensuring the building of the right capabilities.

Requirements:


  • Must be based in Mexico City, Buenos Aires City, or Cordoba City.
  • Experience managing successful Professional Services organizations, preferably delivering services to North America and Europe.
  • 5+ years of building offshore engineering teams.
  • Previous experience in the IT industry, software development, software factory, startups
  • Prior experience with a consulting company is ideal
  • Demonstrated managerial skills with proven experience directly hiring, mentoring, and managing a team of diverse leaders
  • Strong structuring and analytical skills which result in the ability to set up efficient business processes and manage P&L
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a strong proficiency in the English language both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in implementing systems, platforms, and compliance
  • Independent, flexible, and swift working style
  • Extraordinary facilitator and coaching skills who is a natural leader who inspires and motivates those around them
  • Ability to navigate and manage through change and ambiguity
  • Prior experience working in a multinational distributed company is an advantage
  • Exceptionally wellorganized and driven by success
  • Ability to thrive in highpressure situations
