Experiencia
I built a solid and progressive career at Genuine Parts Company (20 years), advancing from Administrative Distribution Center Branch Manager (8) to National Sales Manager (3), and ultimately to Vice President of Sales and Marketing (3) for the Wholesale subsidiary (Auto Todo) within a few years. My most significant appointment came in April 2013, when I was promoted to Vice President and General Manager (6), Mexico for the retail automotive division (NAPA Autoparts). In this role, I was responsible for establishing the NAPA System in Mexico from a greenfield state until August 2018. Following this, I leveraged my experience to become an independent store owner and lead the family business.
Educación
After earning my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1998 (Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan), I strategically decided to combine my professional experience at Genuine Parts Company with advanced studies. I began a Master's Degree in Finance in 2005 (Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan), which significantly enhanced my perspective on key business elements. This powerful blend of corporate experience and high-level financial theory proved instrumental, leading to improved results for the company and accelerating my own career trajectory. My high potential was recognized in 2008 and 2009 when I was selected to join a highly exclusive group of high-potential global executives (fewer than 30 individuals across all subsidiaries -Global Corporation-) for the Management Development Seminar and Leadership Program at Emory Business School in Atlanta, Georgia.
