Currently I am working for Several Walmart divestiture projects as Tech Leading performing tasks about decommission of processes and provide information through interfaces for the new owners of the store that were sold by Walmart for the following countries:

1. JAPAN
2. ARGENTINA
3. BRAZIL 
4. INDIA 
5. GREAT BRITAIN  

We participated in a migration project from EasyTrieve to COBOL

1. Using a utility provided by Walmart team we performed the change code from EZtrieve to COBOL mainly and some of them to JCL.
2. Once the utility migrates the code we review and test it to know if some additional changes were needed.
3. Once we get the expected results, we deployed the code to production and monitor the execution once installed

I belonged to the International Integration Center of  Wal-Mart company as Technical Leader, I was on charge of  Coordinating, Planning and Developing  any new integration of  Wal-Mart systems when it  open a new store or acquires another store all over the world (Chile, Argentina, Central America, Europe, India, China, Russia) for the different  Wal-Mart Finance functional areas (General Ledger, Back Room, Item File, Account Payable, Human Resource, etc…).

I was in BentonvilleAR for 2 months where the Wal-Mart headquarters are located in order to receive a Knowledge Transfer from the functional areas.

The 80% of Wal-Mart systems are based on Mainframe, 10% on Unix, and 10% in Web applications (.NET,Java)

1. Help Wal-Mart company on Integration of their systems when it acquires or open a new store in the different countries
2. Develop, Analysis, Detection and Fix integrations issues
3. Set up Test Sets Environments
4. Direct contact with the users by phone, email
   1. Maintenance or enhance of Cobol, Easytrieve and JCLs components

In all the projects that I have been involved on Walmart Company I have acquired skills such as:

1. Set up entire JCLs flows in a test set environment and CA7 schedules
2. Modify CICS programs related to several applications, copybooks, maps, etc.
3. Use and handle IMS databases either thru TSO or directly in a CICS region using ADLI, PCBs, PSBs, Functions.
4. Use of GDG and VSAM files.
5. Creation or modification of parameters
6. Setup CICS transactions, files and programs.
7. Setup of DB2 tables from Production environment to development environment.
8. Use of QMF for windows or Platinum
9. Use of SOAPUI to test connections to Unix or Java web services
10. Use of DB2 unloads thru parameter with SQL queries in JCLs
11. Transitions of files using FTP or SFTP
12. Creation of WSDL and WSBIND
13. Use of Remedy 7, creating CRQs 
14. Teradata 
15. Currently am acquiring knowledge regarding OOP using Java
