The

Manufacturing

L

ead is responsible for overseeing aspects of manufacturing, project management, process improvement, and team coordination to ensure efficient. The objective of the position is to lead and manage the development, implementation, and improvement of advanced engineering theories, methodologies, and techniques to design, optimize, and enhance large and complex manufacturing processes within an industrial plant.


Responsibilities

  • Creates and execute Manufacturing standard work and cell design.
  • Plans and directs projects or major phases of projects in areas such as, metal forming, brazing, assembly, and material handling.
  • Coordinates the efforts of manufacturing engineers and technical support staff to stablish standards and process control to ensure quality, safety, and productivity in all manufacturing cells.
  • Analyses, evaluates, and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve the solution to complex technical problems.
  • Conducts investigations or tests of considerable complexity pertaining to the development of new manufacturing operations, major production activities, exploration of product and/or process problems, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches in manufacturing operations.
  • Specifies equipment, materials and supplies required for completion and implementation of technical projects.
  • Lead and execute industrial engineering activities, define standard work and kaizen improvements according to VSM for each manufacturing cell.
  • Define playbook required for each manufacturing cell and evaluates productivity according to product families.

Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Requires at least 8 years related experience.
