Responsibilities

Maintain investor and purchase advice files and records (physical or electronic);
Correspond with investors and vendors and respond to inquiries;
Data entry of information into loan operating or accounting software;
Provide support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger as needed;
Respond to Closing or Post Closing Email inquiries in reference to purchase advices;
Provide documentation and support to Warehouse Banks daily;
Communicate with Hedge Banks for daily secondary trades, verify accuracy and notify manager of any discrepancy.
Coordinate with accounts receivable staff for warehouse concerns for expected wires on loan purchases.
Assist with scanning of department documentation during peak times.
Maintain schedules as required by accounting department.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

One (1) to Three (3) years prior Administrative or General Accounting experience
Experience in the mortgage industry preferred but not necessary
Ability to deliver effective results
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automotive insurance
Sound judgment and decision making skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision
Excellent service and communication skills
Ability to perform duties with accuracy.
