Job Summary:


  • Develop and implement plans to maximize warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze and evaluate for providing information for decision making process about inventory risks, warehouse capacity and quality assurance standards.
  • Support and develop knowledge for inventory and warehouse management.
  • Schedule material receipts accordance to warehouse capacity.

Key Duties
/ Responsibilities**:


  • Continuous improvement for the following processes: Receiving (Ingredients and Packaging), Production supply, transportation between sites.
  • Execute and supervise the correct use of purchase requisition for warehouse supplies.
  • Develop solutions to improve warehousing practices to increase capacity.
  • Communicate & implement traffic changes of receptions.
  • Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
  • Determine standard cycle times to balance workload for warehouse processes
  • Lean manufacturing (implement and audit 5 ́s, Kanban, root cause analysis, etc.) to continuous improvement.
  • Perform Layout improvements according to warehouse productivity
  • Participate in the different health, environmental, and safety initiatives or programs implemented in the work
  • Participate and know the risk matrices in the area of work

Financial/Job Scope:

Collaborator will be involved in managing high-cost products and ingredients.

Related Job Requirements/Qualifications**:


  • 1 year in Manufacturing / Warehouse / Operations / Logistic / QA

Desirable:

  • Planning and inventory management.
  • Management software (SAP)
  • Microsoft office.
  • Normativity (ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 45001)
  • Time and prioritization management.
  • Yellow Belt (desirable)
  • Standardized work

Educational Requirements:


  • Bachelor Degree or Technician in Industrial; Chemical, Engineering or Administration Business or related.

Cultural Diversity:

Analysis:


  • Influence the operation to make decision and act regarding inventory levels, accuracy and cost savings.
  • Critical support in projects to increase productivity in warehouse.

Judgment and Decision-Making:


  • Input to the warehouse manager and supervisor based on warehouse capacity.
  • Influence warehouse manager and supervisor about the savings and productivity
  • Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
  • Liaise with transportation drivers, internal stakeholders and warehouse personnel.

Additional Information:


  • Desirable knowledge of warehouse planning, operation and finance control.
  • Experience working within policies & procedures, and understanding of compliance in relation to GWP, HACCP, and ISO's.
